MIG Welder – Full Time (Day Shift)

Location: Guelph, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is currently hiring a MIG Welder for a well-established and reputable company in the Guelph area! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hardworking, motivated, and looking to grow their welding career with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts
• Set up and operate MIG welding machines
• Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, and incomplete fusion
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment
• Use measuring tools (tape measure) and jib cranes as required
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
• Assist with fitting when required

Requirements

• MIG welding experience required (structural steel experience is an asset)
• Fitting experience is an advantage
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
