Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. The Sales Associate will assist customers with selecting furniture and home décor items, provide product knowledge, and ensure a smooth sales process from greeting to closing the sale.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture and home décor solutions.
• Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, warranties, and financing options.
• Prepare and process sales transactions accurately, including payment and financing paperwork.
• Maintain showroom appearance by arranging displays, restocking merchandise, and keeping areas clean and organized.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Stay informed about promotions, inventory, and new product lines.
• Collaborate with team members and management to achieve store objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous retail or furniture sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to actively listen and match customer needs with the right products.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale systems.
• Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
