Full-Time On-site: Gainesville, Georgia

A small biotech company based in Florida is looking to add a Maintenance Technician II (Commercial Manufacturing Support) to their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity responsible for managing and/or performing predictive, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance on all Utilities equipment.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED plus a 2-year degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field from a college or vocational training institution. Demonstrated ability and on-the-job experience may substitute for the 2-year degree
  • Five (5) years of experience as a maintenance technician in a technically complex manufacturing or industrial environment, with hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning mechanical, controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment
  • HVAC experience preferred

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage and/or perform predictive and preventive maintenance and scheduled checks on Utilities equipment in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, and applicable regulations.

This includes:

  • Initiating, executing, and closing out change control requests
  • Investigating deviations
  • Technical writing
  • Generating and/or revising SOPs
  • Troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions for Utilities equipment
  • Coordinate and oversee vendors, outside contractors, and internal staff during the commissioning, servicing, and repair of Utilities equipment
  • Assist validation staff during the execution of validation work on Utilities equipment
  • Perform operational maintenance on facilities and Utilities equipment
