Position Specifics

  • Location: Charter Wire – 7850 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222
  • Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a dedicated production team, drive operational excellence, and ensure customer expectations are met with quality and efficiency.

  • Lead and support your team to meet production goals for quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Promote safety, teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance reviews to support employee growth.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Partner with other departments and shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Environmental, Quality, and Safety standards.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience (or supervisor training).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, coach, and follow up effectively.
  • Team-oriented with experience collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and organized with a sense of urgency.

Nice to Have’s

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Metallurgy, or related field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
