JOB SUMMARY
As an ELL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English language skills to adult non-native speakers. Your primary duties include developing and delivering effective lesson plans, assessing students' language proficiency, and providing constructive feedback to help learners improve their English proficiency. You will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Additionally, you may be involved in designing curriculum, organizing cultural activities, and collaborating with other educators and administrators to enhance the language learning experience. Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for helping others achieve language proficiency are essential for success in this role.
This position will work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5pm-8:30pm and reports to the Assistant Principal over Adult Education.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping kneeling, crouching, crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
