About the Team The Regional & Product Policy team delivers advertising policy coverage across regions, product formats, and sensitive industry verticals. By combining regional expertise with regulated goods and product policy knowledge, the team ensures fast, consistent, and business-aligned policy decisions. About the Role As a Policy Manager for LATAM, you will be responsible for evaluating risks, shaping policy solutions, and ensuring effective enforcement in one of TikTok's fastest-growing markets. You will partner closely with global policy leads and internal cross-functional teams to balance business enablement with user and platform integrity. Responsibilities - Review and analyze advertising policy documents, with a focus on LATAM - Evaluate regional business cases and market requests to identify risks and recommend policy solutions. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Legal, GR, PR, TnS, AdEx, and GBS to align on sensitive industry enablement. - Provide policy expertise and guidance on regulated goods and product features relevant to the LATAM market. - Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and enforcement quality to ensure consistent policy application. - Contribute to policy development and iteration by identifying gaps and proposing updates to address emerging risks. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support coordinated, compliant, and business-aligned advertising policies. - Support knowledge transfer, upskilling, and alignment across LATAM teams to maintain consistent global standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in advertising policy, public policy, compliance, or regulatory affairs. - Fluency in Portuguese and English is required due to communication with external stakeholders. - Proven ability to navigate complex issues and provide clear, practical solutions and to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines. - Experience working with or adjacent to advertising, media, or digital platforms. - Familiarity with the LATAM regulatory environment and industry trends. - Experience working with regulated goods or sensitive industries (e.g., Gambling, Pharma). Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, or related field. - Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and TikTok's products.
