Shipping & Receiving Line Lead – 2ND Shift

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Line Lead

Department: Shipping & Receiving

Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shifts: (subject to change; mandatory overtime and weekend work possible)

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – end

Work Environment: Refrigerated, Blast Freezers, Wet, Hearing protection and PPE required.

The Shipping & Receiving Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, while ensuring accurate and efficient process of inbound and outbound goods by leading a team, and coordinating with other departments. Responsibilities include training employees, resolving issues, verifying shipments against orders, preparing shipping documents, managing warehouse organization, and operating equipment like forklifts to meet safe and productive goals

Responsibilities:

• Assist Shipping/Receiving management to support daily operations.
• Expedite the incoming and outgoing process.
• Collaborate and communicate with employees and other departments
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, sort and stock incoming products to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.
• Maintain organized and clean storage areas.
• Pulling, packing, and loading shipments for timely delivery to customers.
