Integrates simulation program managed hardware, software, programming, and data associated with building simulation driven databases.
Ensures configuration management for all database documentation, policies and procedures are in compliance for each exercise to assist in the database design, programming, testing and execution.
Maintains configuration management on all database documentation, hardware, and software to ensure baseline compliance.
Identify, build, and maintain unit and parametric databases in conjunction with unit exercise participants to ensure unit exercise objectives are met.
Identifies database issues, changes, and provides feedback to the development teams to improve database software.
Coordinates with internal Combined Battle Simulation Center (CBSC) / Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC) entities and external major component unit command Points of Contact (POC).
Demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of the need for exceptional customer-government-contractor relationships.
Perform required corrective database unit and parametric edits during exercises based on configuration management policy and procedures.
Maintains a repository of each exercise database.
Provide 24 hour coverage during exercise periods to include working the night shift.
Acts as the Lead Database Administrator in the absence of the Lead Database Administrator.
Able to travel worldwide to attend simulation planning conference.
Maintain Equipment Inventory and Accountability in the database section.
Assists in ALL other Technical Support Branch operations when required.
