Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide a warm, engaging experience
- Actively listen to customers’ needs and offer knowledgeable product recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all furniture products, styles, pricing, and availability
- Assist customers with purchasing, financing, and delivery options
- Achieve or exceed sales goals through effective upselling and customer relationship building
- Ensure showroom displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Process transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Participate in regular team meetings and product training sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or sales experience (furniture or home decor sales a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
