Medical Device Assembler at Invuity
 
Position Description:
This position will assemble and/or package medical devices and components under GMP guidelines. This person will report into the Manager of Production located at our headquarters in San Francisco.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks and processes that are required to build, assemble, inspect, and package products in a controlled manufacturing environment using microscopes and small-handled tools
  • Maintain compliance with GMPs, our Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and company standards
  • Check product for overall quality and work-ability
  • Perform various inspection and/or testing as required
  • Complete any necessary documentation
  • Perform various computer functions
  • Assist engineering for the introduction of new or improved products into production
  • Assist in training new employees in department
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

  • Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.
  • Ability to actively participate in a teamwork environment that maintains a high performance culture
  • Successful completion of all job-related tests required to perform essential functions of the job
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges
  • Basic computer entry/retrieval skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications:
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of prior experience in manufacturing or health care, preferably in the production of medical devices
