Machine Operator- Weekend Shift
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Machine Operator- Weekend Shift to join a local Omaha Company!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Weekend shift
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Pay/Salary: up to $23/hour
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate all types of machine tools used in machining work
- Successfully program and operate various machines
- Read blueprints and manufacture components to tolerances
- Make necessary mechanical repairs on any equipment in the plant
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure machining meets specifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent coursework or training in a related area
- 1-2 years experience in mechanical assembly is preferred
- A recognized apprenticeship may be required
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Understanding of mathematics
- Ethical behavior
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
