They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.
As an Audit Manager at PwC Mongolia, you will lead audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and client service. You will play a key role in managing teams, developing talent, and driving innovation in audit delivery through technology and strategic insight.
What you will do
- Lead and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with PwC methodology, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Plan and manage audit engagements, including risk assessments, testing strategies, and internal control evaluations
- Review and finalize audit documentation and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with professional standards
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders
- Supervise and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance
- Maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering value-added services
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance audit methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient audit delivery
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as improving audit efficiency through technology and strengthening market presence
What you will bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience, preferably within a Big Four environment, with a focus on banking sector audits
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISAs and local accounting standards; knowledge of ESG Sustainability reporting is a plus
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
