The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the inside sales team to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention. This position develops sales strategies, sets performance metrics, and coaches team members to ensure sales targets are met while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Manager collaborates closely with marketing, operations, and regional sales teams to align efforts and optimize the sales process.
Essential Functions
- Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
- Lead, coach, and develop the inside sales team through regular meetings, one-on-one coaching, and performance feedback.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train inside sales staff, including coordination of industrial services training.
- Conduct customer prospecting by cold email and cold call to acquire new customers.
- Collaborate with Field Sales Managers to lead technical discussions, interpret customer needs, and develop tailored proposals.
- Manage and optimize the team’s use of Salesforce CRM to track activities, manage pipelines, and drive performance.
- Protect and grow the existing book of business being transferred to the Inside Sales
- Develop and maintain strong communication with the broader sales team, marketing and operations management within the pre-award, award, and post-award activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams, principals, and clients to address needs and resolve issues.
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning with Sales Team to align with corporate goals.
- Improve and maintain work process procedures for valued customer integration.
- Identify and implement long-term corrective actions to address challenges.
- Leverage successful sales experiences to develop and share best practices across the team.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic sales plans to support business growth.
- Review and monitor client and market behavior to determine what resources and/or tools can be used to create quantified value for customers.
- Support Sales Managers in securing new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with account teams.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions include outdoor and indoor fields, yards and shop locations.
- Working indoors in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.
- Frequent travel as required

Education & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in a sales role
- 2 years of sales management experience
