Senior Treasury Consultant – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

The opportunity

We are looking to grow our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (“FAAS”) team with an experienced profile. More concretely we would like to develop a team of experts in treasury and we are looking for a Treasury Consultant who is eager to help develop this new team. In this position you will participate in many different treasury projects at multiple clients active in a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

You are a senior profile who will take up the challenge to help develop our team on one of the following treasury matters: cash & liquidity management (1), treasury audit support (2), financial risk management (3) and treasury technology (4). We expect you to have knowledge on at least one of these four service offerings.

Further responsibilities include:

• You will participate in the presentation of solution to clients up to the implementation (project management from A to Z);
• You participate to consultative conversations with new and existing customers to define the solutions to meet their goals and business objectives;
• You monitor industry trends and competitive practices, including the impact of technology, regulatory and legislative changes related to treasury management;
• You follow all bank policies and procedures and compliance regulations;
• You coach, mentor, or train other team members.

Your profile

More concretely, we are looking for the following profile:

• At least 2-5 years of experience in corporate treasury or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of bank payment systems, treasury management solutions and competitive practices are essential;
• A proven experience in one of the four service offerings and a good understanding of the other service offerings:
  • Cash & liquidity management;
  • Financial risk management;
  • Treasury audit support/IFRS;
  • Treasury technology;
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient level of business English;
• Excellent interpersonal, teaming and commercial skills;
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry specific software applications;
• Flexibility in terms of (international) business trips.
