The Core Platform team focuses on the key elements of the Wear OS operating system, including operating system foundations and services specific to the devices and services ecosystem. We have several exciting projects planned for the coming quarters, including features to enable more comprehensive and seamless experiences with Gemini, helping to expand watches implementation of Bluetooth protocols and restructuring the core operating system to be more performant, power efficient and reliable.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
