Description

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you are responsible for managing the operations of the restaurant at the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Food and Beverage Supervisor will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the restaurant team
  • Monitor, observe and conduct team member performance reviews
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
  • Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
  • Oversee restaurant inventory control
  • Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
  • Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Knowledge

Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. May require knowledge of policies and procedures, and the ability to determine a course of action based on these guidelines.

Formal Education and Job-Related Experience

This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of three years job-related experience

License, Registration, and/or Certification Required

Food Safety Supervisor - training may be provided

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
