This position is ideal for senior level test automation professionals to join System Integration team as a Senior SDET Engineer. As part of System Integration team you will be focused on improving the quality of existing Align solutions and working on testing new innovative products and technologies. You will be part of a cross-functional and multi-regional development organization utilizing a broad set of technologies and tools. You will have the opportunity to interact and share experience with colleagues from multiple countries and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

Role Expectations

• Create test automation scenarios (75% of work). Create and conduct both manual (25% of work) and automation testing. Automation is way more critical but you must understand what exactly to automate first. We use pytest for managing autotests and Jira for managing tests in general. We use AWS cloud infrastructure for running autotests.
• Intensive communication with all roles on projects – project and product managers, system and business analysts, developers, QA engineers, devops. As well as with other SDETs in the team.
• Develop and improve our test automation framework and systems. The most noticeable technologies and python libs we use are AWS (S3, Lambda, Fargate, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB), Report Portal, RabbitMQ, Selenium, React, Celery, Flask.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of previous experience as an engineer in IT. 3+ years as a Software Engineer in Test.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of QA approaches and practices.
• BS/MS degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of System Design. We do not design systems but we must understand how a system under test works.
• Knowledge and experience with Software Development Life Cycle frameworks and methodologies.
• English B2 level (intermediate) or higher.
• Knowledge and experience in API testing. As well as other ways of subsystems communication like message brokers, system buses etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.

Complementary skills

Experience in AWS technologies

Experience with Splunk log management system.
