We are a growing engineering and construction startup based in Riyadh, KSA, focused on delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects. As we build our operations, we are seeking a reliable and well-connected Government Relations Officer (GRO) to manage all interactions with Saudi government entities and ensure full legal and regulatory compliance for our company and employees.
Job Description:
The Government Relations Officer (GRO) will be responsible for handling all official processes with government authorities, ensuring timely execution of company registrations, employee visas, work permits, GOSI, Muqeem, MOL, and related compliance documentation. This role is critical to supporting the startup's growth by ensuring smooth and lawful operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all government-related processes for the company including but not limited to:
- Issuance, renewal, and cancellation of Iqamas and work visas
- Company registrations and licenses with ministries and municipalities
- GOSI, MOL, Muqeem, Absher, and Qiwa portals
- Chamber of Commerce renewals
- ZATCA registration and updates
- Liaise with government departments such as the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, Civil Defense, and others
- Support employee onboarding by handling visa and residency processing
- Track and maintain all government documents, renewals, and records
- Stay updated with new laws and regulations affecting company operations
- Represent the company in official meetings or inspections when required
- Coordinate with HR and management to ensure legal compliance in all staffing matters
Requirements:
- Saudi National preferred (due to the nature of the role and local regulations)
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a GRO in the engineering, construction, or contracting industry
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and government processes
- Familiarity with online platforms: Muqeem, Absher, Qiwa, GOSI, ZATCA, and MOL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Saudi driving license
