Position Summary
This is a supervisor at the Neuroscience Institute Outpatient Rehab. This position will administratively oversee the daily functions of the clinic and treat 75%. The supervisor would also build physician relations , media and marketing efforts and program development. This position has a requirement of being dry needling certified or willing to get certified.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Works alongside professional staff evaluating and treating patients according to professional standards of practice of their specific
- discipline.
- Interpersonal communications skills include the ability to lead, advise, instruct, inform, and listen to staff.
- Demonstrates judgment, and reasoning abilities to problem solve and create new opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for assisting with budgeting, overseeing payroll, PIP plans, maintaining unit inventory, and participating in the hiring of
- employees.
- Responsible with Rehabilitation Manager for business assessment, growth, and development of a strategic business plan.
- Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
- The Rehabilitation Supervisor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age
- of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
- The Supervisor must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the
- ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each
- patient’s requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s
- /area’s/department’s policies and procedures.
- Participates in PIP, program development, student supervision, assigned committees, safety, and infection control as required.
- Demonstrates an awareness of legal issues, patient rights, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
- and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree
Licensure/Certification
Current license in the State of Florida as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Audiologist or Speech Language Pathologist
If, Speech Language Pathologist, must also have current Certificate of Clinical Competence. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare
Provider certification.
Experience
Four (4) years’ of related experience.
