About the Role:

As a Lounge Attendant at the Sheraton in Brentwood, TN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience within the hotel's exclusive lounge area. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all guests receive attentive, courteous, and personalized service in a comfortable and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lounge, managing food and beverage offerings, and responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs to enhance their overall satisfaction. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to the hotel's reputation for outstanding hospitality and guest retention.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, or customer service roles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hotel lounge or upscale hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management.
• Certification in food handling or hospitality service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the lounge, providing a warm and professional first impression.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with Sheraton standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet guest expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including seating, tables, and service stations.
• Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, coordinating with management to replenish as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down lounge service areas for daily operations and special events.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and communication.
