Position Information

Department Technician:

a. Maintain and Check Out Equipment for student use including Cameras, Microphones, Audio Recorders, Batteries, Tripods, Lights, Light Stands and cables.

b. Maintain the Computer Lab - Editing programs from the Adobe Creative Cloud

c. Maintain Audio Recording Rooms - Computer, Adobe Audition, Audio Board, Headsets, Microphones and Cables

d. Maintain KMSU Podcast / Radio Boot - Computers, iAutomate program, Natural Music Program, Adobe Audition, Audio Boards, Headsets, Microphones and Cables

As well as Mevo Cameras and Ipad

e. Maintain KMSU TV Room - Computers, Slide Show, DVD Players and TV Signal

f. Maintain TV Control Room - Tricaster TC1, Streaming Computer, Audio Board and Communication Equipment

g. Maintain TV Studio - Camera systems, Lighting, Microphones, Teleprompters and Cables

h. Live Show technician for MSU Inside/Out, KMSU Auction, Live Basketball Games, and other live events - Tricaster TC1, Tricaster Mini, Camera systems, Lighting, Microphones, Teleprompters, Streaming Computer, Audio Boards and Communication Equipment

a. Possibility to Instruct - Instruct COMM 100 Recital - .5 credit every semester

b. Instruct COMM 285 Broadcasting & Professional Communication Activities - 2 credit every semester.

Students must take for 6 credits. Three different syllabi

C) Conduct Adobe CC Programs Labs for Comm: 225, 360, 362, 460 and 470 - Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photo Shop and Adobe Illustrator.

As well as Tricaster TC1 and Audio Boards ,Camera Equipment, Audio Equipment and Lighting Equipment

KMSU Supervisor

a. Oversee the KMSU Managers - General Manager, Sales/Promotional Manager, Radio Personal Manager, TV Personal Manager, TV Content Manager and Multimedia Manager

b. Update the KMSU RADIO & KMSU TV - iAutomate and Natural Music Programs

and InstaPlayout and PowerPoint

c. Oversee KMSURADIO.com Webpage, KMSU APP and Social Media Pages - Maintain/Update Webpage and Work with Multimedia Manager

d. Oversee the KMSU Underwriters - Work with Sales Manager

1) Both positions have the same possibility to instruct
