CNC Programmer – Structural Steel Fabrication

Clackamas, OR | Full-Time | $28–$40/hr DOE

Role:

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for cutting, drilling, and punching structural steel components. You’ll work with AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, PeddiMat, and related software to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and top-tier quality in production.

You’ll Do:

• Program CNC machines for beamline, plate burner, and angle master operations
• Import/interpret CAD drawings & work orders
• Optimize material yield and minimize waste
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and project managers
• Maintain programming systems & documentation

You Bring:

• 2–3+ years CNC programming experience (structural steel preferred)
• Proficiency in SigmaNEST, PeddiMat, or AutoCAD
• Strong blueprint reading skills & knowledge of fabrication processes
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
