What You Will Do

As a Lead Engineer Technology, you will be a key driver of innovation, shaping the future of Vistaprint’s manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure the successful scouting, testing, and implementation of new technologies and equipment across our global facilities.

• Lead the end-to-end introduction of new technologies and equipment, from developing and approving business cases to managing project schedules and budgets.
• Scout, research, test, and validate new technologies and equipment for our global manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with teams across all plants, as well as with Global and Local Purchasing and Category Teams, to drive consistency and innovation.
• Act as an in-house technology expert and maintain Vistaprint's technology roadmap, staying current on industry trends.
• Plan and execute equipment installations, utility setups, and production area layouts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during installations and coordinate training for new equipment and processes.
• Conduct acceptance tests (FAT, SAT) and oversee performance validations to ensure quality and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 5 years of experience evaluating and installing new technology and equipment.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A strong ability to think proactively and independently, thriving in both team and solo environments.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and financial decision-making.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in the printing industry.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
