Your Impact

You will join OHI (Organizational Health Index), which is part of our People & Organizational Performance (POP) practice.

You will be based in our Lisbon or Wroclaw office. Working with our clients and client service teams, you will play an active role in product deployment by collaborating with colleagues in your regional and global OHI team. You will be collaborating with different experts within OHI and McKinsey consultants outside of OHI .

OHI is part of our People Organizational Performance (POP) practice and is designed to help diagnose our clients' most critical organization issues. OHI combines innovative design technology and advanced analytics with deep expertise to accelerate effective organizational decisions. OHI can help human resources and business leaders to make smarter organizational decisions by leveraging advanced data analytic, user-centered design technology and proven methodologies. These approaches help clients to answer critical questions related to cost reduction, efficiency and effectiveness streamlining, merger plans, divestments and carve-outs, and talent deployment.

In 2024 alone, the OHI reached 185+ organizations and nearly 1 million survey respondents. The OHI is grounded in a science-backed methodology and has 20+ years of client impact. In addition, the OHI serves as a foundation for many of the firm's most compelling research articles including: "Healthy organizations keep winning but the rules are changing fast"

You will advise our clients on their most challenging issues and help make sustainable and major organizational change. Leveraging proprietary knowledge and tools, you will help facilitate sustainable and large-scale change to our clients such as organizational restructuring, change management, culture transformation and leadership development. You will work on 3-5 projects at a time across a region (international) and be responsible for managing multiple workstreams.

You will work on data collection, data organization as well as the analysis and synthesis of data from the McKinsey diagnostics, producing client-ready presentations, reports and workshop materials. In addition to that, you will be a key player in contextualizing concepts to enable client understanding of general trends within their specific organization. You will serve clients remotely as well as on-site where required (travel may be around 25%, depending on tenure, demand and personal interest). With a passion for driving impact, you will work with clients to help them understand opportunities to drive meaningful change in their organization including problem solving and gathering insights from client data, supporting workshops and other client discussions, building client capabilities and capacity for change along the way. In addition to delivering impact to our clients, you will play a key role in developing and implementing improvement ideas to position our firm as at thought leader in the organizational space and continually improve the way we operate our solution(s).

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s or other graduate degree is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in organizational design, change management or other human resources consulting topics preferred
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Previous experience in developing and analyzing surveys and/or developing insights from software is a plus
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new tools and techniques as per organization needs
  • Top-tier problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excitement for an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
  • Ability to take ownership and prioritize under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently, or as part of a team (often across time-zones)
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent English in business contexts is required; other advantageous language skills are Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, French or German
