Additional Information

Includes services of four Board Certified Allergist/Immunologists and six Board Certified Rheumatologists. Academic Fellows, Residents and Certified Nurse Practitioners also provide care in these areas, under the supervision of the Attending MD. Services with Allergy/Immunology cover a variety of diseases and conditions including but not limited to: Allergic Rhino-Conjunctivitis (Hay Fever), Allergic and Non-allergic Asthma, Urticaria (Hives), Angioedema (swelling disorders), Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema), Allergies to foods/stinging insects/medications, hereditary immune deficiencies (Primary Immune Deficiencies). Services with Rheumatology cover a variety of diseases and conditions including but not limited to: autoimmune disorders, including juvenile arthritis, lupus, myositis, scleroderma and various vasculitides. A variety of treatment options are available such as Allergy Immunotherapy, Food and Medication Challenges, Biologic agents, intra-articular corticosteroid joint injections.
