Description

The Endo Tech (2) is an experienced endoscopy technician. It is expected that the Endo Tech (2) will meet the performance standards within the three month probationary period. A Skills Checklist must be completed prior to the three month evaluation. A Tech (2) may qualify to advance to Tech (3) after 12 month‘s experience. The Endo Tech (2) performs the preventative maintenance, cleaning high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessory equipment. Sets up procedure rooms and assists with diagnostic procedures. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.53 - $22.79 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • High School or GED

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience working as a Nursing Care Technician, Medical/Surgical Assistance or Central Service Technician/Clinical Partner Strong interpersonal skills working as a Tech I for more than 6 months.
  • CNA certification preferred.
