We are looking for a strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to take on a critical mission: building a new engineering team from the ground up. As the strategic force behind this effort, you will do more than just recruit - you will shape the future of our R&D organization by finding the brilliant minds who will build TikTok's next generation of technology. This role is for a true builder who is energized by ambiguity, driven by impact, and ready to create something extraordinary. Responsibilities: - Own and drive the end-to-end recruitment process for highly specialized engineering roles within core algorithm domains. - Develop a profound understanding of our global R&D organization by partnering with key stakeholders across both English and Mandarin-speaking regions. - Architect and execute innovative, data-driven sourcing strategies to identify and attract elite, hard-to-find talent from niche pools. - Masterfully manage the entire candidate journey, from initial engagement and qualification through complex compensation negotiations to secure top-tier hires. - Champion an unparalleled, high-touch experience that ensures every candidate is treated with respect and feels connected to our brand. - Act as a culture ambassador by embodying and evangelizing the TikTok engineering culture, empowering interviewers to be compelling brand champions. - Leverage talent market data and internal analytics to deliver actionable insights, influence key stakeholders, and continuously optimize recruiting strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - A minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruiting, or equivalent experience in an HR or Talent Acquisition role. - Demonstrated fluency with data, using metrics and analytics to craft recruitment strategies, create compelling narratives, and influence decisions. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. - A global mindset with experience partnering effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones and cultures. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience hiring for technical roles, specifically in areas like Core Algorithms. - A results-oriented, self-starter mentality with a history of taking initiative, embracing calculated risks, and continuously seeking innovation. - A genuine passion for building teams from scratch and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - Fluency in Mandarin is preferred, to communicate and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders. - A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
