Job Summary:

Develop your career in the field of high performance mixed-signal analog and RF silicon layout by joining Onsemi QCS as we expand our design team in service of new and existing Wi-Fi programs.

This posting is for a layout designer working in close alignment with engineers to draft silicon solutions in 22, 16 and further deep sub-micron technologies. Created content will support digital-on-top flow requirements as specified by chip-top floor planning activities. A successful applicant will possess strong practical and technical layout skills along with a deep understanding of industry standard drafting, verification, and analysis tools.

Requirements:

• Strong practical and technical layout skills.
• Core knowledge of standard layout tools including Cadence Layout-XL, Skillcad, Calibre DRC/LVS, CalibreDRV, Quantas QRC.
• Operational understanding of Linux/Unix and Microsoft desktop apps.
• Core knowledge of top-level routing tools is a plus.
• Ability to use Skill and other programming languages to accelerate/multiply work effort is a strong plus.
• Previous sub-micron layout and validation is a strong plus.
• Pursuit of degree in Layout / Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is a strong plus.
• 5+ years layout experience recommended.
