Summary:

Order Management Services (OMS) is an Order Management System built for the cloud. OMS automates the processing, tracking and reporting of sales transactions, orders, returns, product inventory, including available to promise (ATP) inventory, and fulfillment across multiple channels.

Our team is responsible for developing the end-to-end process of handling customer orders, from order creation and validation to fulfillment and financial recording.

As a Senior Java Developer specializing in cloud applications, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud solutions that leverage modern technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and efficient cloud-based applications that meet our project strategic objectives.

Duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java cloud applications on Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes platforms.
• Utilize Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build robust cloud applications.
• Implement event-driven architectures to ensure high availability and real-time processing of data
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Assist in code reviews to promote best practices, write unit tests and perform integration testing to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Work with DevOps teams to facilitate CI/CD processes, ensuring smooth deployment and operations on cloud platforms.
• Profile and optimize the services performance, setting up monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect and address issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud development and contribute innovative ideas.

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields with minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in cloud applications.
• Core Java Object Oriented programming with Multithreading experience in developing cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Experience programming in Spring Boot, Kafka and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of Git for version control
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience in Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry
• Preferred programming experience in BTP Services and BTP Kyma.
• Preferred experience in SAP HANA and Cosmos DB
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and capable of working effectively in cross-cultural global teams.
• Experience developing, testing, deploying and maintaining cloud-native microservices on hyperscalers via CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

En qualité de développeur Java senior spécialisé dans les applications infonuagiques, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la conception, le développement et le déploiement de solutions infonuagiques tirant parti des technologies modernes. Vous collaborerez avec des équipes transversales pour créer dans le nuage des applications évolutives et efficaces qui répondent aux objectifs stratégiques du projet.

Tâches et responsabilités

• Concevoir, développer et gérer les applications infonuagiques Java sur les plateformes Cloud Foundry et Kubernetes.
• Utiliser les cadres Spring et Spring Boot pour concevoir des applications infonuagiques fiables.
• Implémenter des architectures pilotées par les événements pour garantir une haute disponibilité et le traitement des données en temps réel.
• Participer tout au long du cycle de vie du développement logiciel, notamment le recueil des exigences, la conception, le développement, le test, le déploiement et la gestion.
• Apporter son aide dans les révisions de code pour encourager les meilleures pratiques, rédiger des tests unitaires et exécuter des tests d’intégration pour maintenir la qualité et la fiabilité du code.
• Analyser et résoudre les problèmes, les bogues et les soucis de performance des applications.
• Travailler dans un environnement Agile/Scrum, en collaborant avec les équipes transversales pour livrer des solutions logicielles de haute qualité et permettre une communication efficace des concepts techniques.
• Collaborer avec les équipes DevOps pour faciliter les processus d’intégration et de livraison continues (CI/CD), en vue du développement et de l’exploitation sans heurt des plateformes infonuagiques.
• Profiler et optimiser la performance des services, en configurant des solutions de surveillance et de journalisation pour détecter et résoudre les problèmes de façon proactive.
• Se tenir informé des dernières tendances en matière de développement infonuagique et proposer des idées innovantes.

Qualifications minimales

• Baccalauréat/Maîtrise en informatique ou dans des disciplines connexes, avec au moins 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente.
• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience dans le développement Java, couplées à une expertise dans les applications infonuagiques.
• Programmation orientée objet dans Core Java avec une expérience multitransactionnelle dans le développement d’applications de type logiciels-services (SaaS) dans le nuage.
• Expérience en programmation dans Spring Boot, Kafka et les API REST.
• Compréhension approfondie de Git pour le contrôle de version.
• Compréhension approfondie des processus CI/CD.
• Expérience avec Kubernetes et Cloud Foundry.
• Expérience de programmation dans les services SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) et dans BTP Kyma souhaitée.
• Expérience dans les bases de données SAP HANA et Cosmos DB souhaitée.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement de développement Agile et à collaborer efficacement avec des équipes internationales multiculturelles.
• Expérience dans le développement, le test, le déploiement et la gestion de microservices natifs du nuage sur des hyperscalers via des pipelines CI/CD.
• Excellentes compétences en communication à l’écrit et à l’oral.
