Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the technological direction for business-critical applications, ensuring alignment with the overall business vision and strategic objectives.
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology programs and projects, from initiation to successful delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate efforts across diverse development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps practices for all relevant products, enhancing security, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Act as the primary technology liaison for designated business units within Wolters Kluwer, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
  • Assist RTE with identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities within a program.
  • Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular, transparent updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and successes..

Experience:

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 5+ years of experience as a Technology Program Manager managing large, complex initiatives in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams following SAFe methodologies. In addition, a proven track of designing content pipeline end-to-end.
  • Must have a good understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, .NET, JavaScript (AngularJS), or PHP. Preferably has experience developing software.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive content model that aligns with business goals and user needs.
  • Proven experience in analytics (data and content).
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
    • Project Management tools including JIRA, Miro
    • Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo
    • Other tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Proven ability to lead software development initiatives and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.
