Aftermarket Solutions Manager, Stirred Mills

Purpose of Role

The Aftermarket Solutions Manager advances Weir’s aftermarket business by developing and delivering tailored solutions, such as spare parts, upgrades, and technical services, for stirred mills in mining rock processing. With a focus on grinding and processes, this role enhances client satisfaction and equipment performance by working in conjunction with regional personnel, who serve as primary points of contact for clients. Collaborating closely with regional teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to Weir’s mission of delivering sustainable, efficient mining solutions.

Travel

This exciting position includes up to 25% travel regionally and occasionally internationally for client site visits, project support, and collaboration with regional teams.

Education and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
• Experience: 3-5 years as a Key Account Manager or similar client-facing role in mining or heavy industry, with exposure to aftermarket services or client solution delivery. Experience in mining rock processing, particularly grinding or auxiliaries, is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of stirred mills and their aftermarket applications (e.g., maintenance, upgrades). Familiarity with Weir’s minerals processing technologies (e.g., Enduron® HPGRs, Warman® pumps) or CRM tools is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with regional teams to coordinate projects and solve client issues. Analytical mindset for process data and commercial metrics.
• Added Value: Field or plant-based experience in mining environments or exposure to aftermarket solution development is highly valued.
