Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT Business Partner Team within a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives and deliver tangible value. This role requires a strong combination of analytical, communication, and project leadership skills, as well as hands-on experience with ERP or CPQ systems and data visualization tools.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to business units, translating business needs into clear IT requirements and actionable initiatives.
- Lead or manage small to medium-sized IT projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of complex business processes to identify improvement opportunities and technology solutions.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership and cross-functional teams to support project proposals, updates, and decision-making.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to extract insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
- Advocate for and influence business process changes and IT adoption across departments.
- Maintain strong organizational practices to track deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8–10 years of total relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ERP applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) or a major CPQ application (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus).
- Proven experience leading or managing small-scale IT projects or initiatives.
- Strong ability to present and communicate effectively with executive and business leadership teams.
- Skilled at interpreting and explaining technical information in a business context.
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, BOBJ.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with IT infrastructure projects or platforms.
- Exposure to or experience with web development technologies and principles.
- Experience working in a global or manufacturing environment is a plus.
