Sr. Product Manager - Technical - Kuiper Networking

Amazon

DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Our team owns the network services capabilities that unlock customer value across all Kuiper segments (Government, Consumer, Enterprise). This includes services like public internet access, private cloud connectivity, on-premises customer links, and layer 2 transit. The team partners closely with Kuiper's business units to identify high-value connectivity needs and develop innovative network services to meet customer needs.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to define and own Kuiper’s Network Performance Management (NPM) product. Customers across Kuiper’s consumer, commercial, and government segments will benefit from tools that help them understand the health of the Kuiper network, how it integrates with their existing networking tools, and how the Kuiper experience can be optimized based on the content and workloads used by a customer.

As the single threaded owner for Kuiper’s NPM space, you will work with customers to deeply understand customer needs, define the end-to-end product lifecycle from conceptualization through launch, working closely with engineering teams, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role requires deep collaboration with Kuiper Engineering, eCommerce, User Experience, and Field Service teams to ensure a high-quality product.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
