YOUR ROLE

Join us in shaping and expanding the CECP segment marketing and application organization at ST. You will play a pivotal role in fostering cross-functional collaboration with product groups, transversal functions (QMT, R&D), product marketing, applications, market intelligence, sales, and more. By effectively mobilizing company resources, you will help develop a comprehensive global segment marketing and application strategy tailored to specific and focused end markets, such as Data Centers.

In this role, you will define, align, and drive the segment strategy and go-to-market approach in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other ST teams on a worldwide scale. Leveraging application resources across regions and divisions, you will showcase ST's end-to-end solutions, support customers in maximizing ST's footprint, and strategically position relevant products within the value chain. This includes working with partners, design reference enablers, ODMs, CMs, and OEMs to ensure our solutions are effectively integrated and utilized.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market intelligence: is a key aspect of this role. You will contribute by collecting and analyzing information on future trends, needs, new topologies, and architectures within the segment. Your keen eye will be focused on competitors, key customers, and emerging companies, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and we drive Division road maps.
  • Segment Strategy and Go-to-Market: You will lead the regional organization in targeting new markets for the company, enhancing ST's market positioning, and creating value at the system level. Your goal will be to offer the largest ST footprint possible to satisfy customer applications. You will develop system-based promotional content and drive it through various internal (Global Sales and Marketing org) and external (partners or distributors) go-to-market channels.
  • Applications Studies and technical trend identification : You will focus on identifying technical trends that will emerge over the next three to five years. By spotting gaps in products, features, or technology bricks, you will leverage ST's system-level approach to enhance our portfolio and shape new product roadmaps. Your focus will be on high-value solutions and differentiation within the targeted domain/segment. You will submit detailed specifications and advocate recommendations to the product groups, providing a consolidated view of technical market trends and product evolution across the segment on a global and consolidated view.
  • Segment "Brand" Communication: You will ensure ST's presence and representation at trade shows and in technical publications. As a key enabler of collaboration with design partners, you will mobilize application resources to represent ST across the segment. You will actively participate in and develop press releases, articles, product presentations, and conferences, effectively communicating ST's brand and innovations.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Education: Master's degree in Electronics or Physics.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Technical Marketing or FAE roles.
  • Expertise: Proficiency in Analog Power and Power Discrete, Digital Controllers, and Optical technologies.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to navigate complex programs and interface with various company stakeholders
    • Strong team player with a talent for enrolling teams, managing people/resources, and fostering collaboration
    • High level of autonomy and self-driven
    • Demonstrates creativity and "out of the box" thinking
    • Proficient in Excel, Office Suite, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of SFDC or any similar CRM
    • Excellent communication skills
  • Languages: Business proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese, French, or Italian is a plus.

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

For the Bay Area - The base annual salary range for this role is between $173,100 - $216,400 USD.
