Graduate Career Program - Software Developer

The Graduate Career Program plays a key role in shaping the future of Group IT by helping to build our new Global Data & AI Hub—and offers an exciting launchpad for your career at Symrise.

This 12-month global program is designed for recent graduates ready to kickstart their careers through a combination of structured learning, hands-on experience, and personal mentorship. You'll receive formal training, work on real business challenges, and gain exposure to senior leaders—all within a highly collaborative and innovative environment.

The program focuses on growing your technology expertise, deepening your business understanding, and accelerating your development. You’ll work on real projects that address complex challenges, contribute to innovation, and help shape the future of our practices. Through agile, cross-functional teamwork, you’ll gain insights into product development and data-driven decision-making on a global scale.

About You

• A master’s degree (completed or expected by September 2025) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, Computational Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with above-average academic performance.
• Up to two years of experience prior to joining the program, gained through internships, study abroad, or relevant professional experience following graduation.
• Foundational experience developing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar.
• Understanding of backend development and REST API design, using frameworks like Node.js/Express, Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), or C#/.NET Core.
• (Optional) Experience with low-code platforms or automation tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Mendix, or OutSystems.
• (Optional) Exposure to working with large datasets, data analytics, AI tools, or agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
• A high level of motivation, learning agility, and curiosity—you’re someone who enjoys exploring new ideas and technologies.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, global corporate environment.
• Advanced English language proficiency (CEFR level C1 or equivalent TOEFL score of 95+).
