Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, Microservices architecture, and front-end technologies such as React.js. Candidate will be responsible for building robust APIs, implementing RESTful services, and ensuring seamless integration across various platforms.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Design and develop RESTful Web APIs for integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Utilize tools like Swagger UI for API documentation and testing.
  • Implement responsive UI components using React.js, Bootstrap, and other modern front-end technologies.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Application Developer, with a focus on C# and .NET technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core and microservices architecture.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and Web Services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js, Bootstrap, and modern front-end development.
  • Familiarity with Swagger UI for API documentation.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of security principles and data protection.
