Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is excited to offer this opportunity to join its Monterrey-based Real Assets Data Operations Team. This position is responsible for tracking commercial Real Estate market transactions. No prior Real Estate experience is necessary. The role will also suit a recent graduate who has an analytical mind and the ability to communicate in a clear and engaging fashion.

Our Real Assets business offers a structured training program for its proprietary methodologies and understanding of the Real Estate markets. You will also be part of a diverse team in a growing global company.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and interpret complex, high-volume, and dimensional data related to the Canadian real estate market from a variety of sources.
  • Search for, validate, and enter data into our proprietary database, ensuring ongoing accuracy and integrity.
  • Track and monitor various news outlets, government records, and third-party data providers for commercial real estate transactions and market activity.
  • Investigate and resolve missing data points or discrepancies for existing real estate records.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data processes, methodologies, and automation tools.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Canadian data vendors.
  • Stay informed of Canadian market trends, industry developments, and property sector dynamics.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in data research, using various data collection and validation techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and multicultural environment.
  • Fast learner with a logical, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project scopes, timelines, and market needs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrating an exceptional drive towards delivery.
  • Passionate about the real estate industry, particularly in the Canadian market.
  • Fluency in English; French is a plus
  • Skilled in leveraging AI tools to support research and streamline workflows.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
