Your key responsibilities

  • Lab Application and Testing: Prepare and deliver complex application samples, including stability and performance tests, aligned with business priorities and delivery timelines. Apply global good laboratory practices, standard operating procedures, and utilize available digital tools and software. Perform hands-on lab work, including preparing and testing fragrance samples. Maintain and operate laboratory tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Identify technical problems in application
  • Stock and Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized personal workbench according to best practices. Keep the personal physical collection of application bases up-to-date, fresh, and synchronized with digital systems. Manage stocks of laboratory supplies, raw materials, application bases, and client bases to ensure availability and quality. Organize lab inventory and procure necessary materials from local suppliers and the Singapore team to ensure continuous lab operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Collaborate with the Regulatory team to generate and maintain documentation for fragrance compliance and safety standards via Core DB. Ensure fragrance samples adhere to internal quality guidelines through proper documentation. Maintain and update records for fragrance regulatory requirements and project submissions. Report non-conformances to the laboratory supervisor or manager, propose corrective actions, and implement tested solutions. Connect with the PSRA team to facilitate documentation for customs clearance when necessary.
  • Sample Purchase and Dispatch: Raise purchase orders (POs) and manage goods receipt (GR) processes for lab-related purchases via the SRM platform. Maintain inventory of fragrance samples and packaging materials, ensuring timely reordering. Organize and dispatch fragrance and market samples to clients or internal teams, supporting local and global accounts.
  • Continuous Improvement and Operational Efficiency: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing Lean Management principles. Participate actively in LEAN projects to streamline lab and operational processes. Operate with a team-oriented mindset, supporting colleagues during high workload situations.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSS&E): Perform all operations in compliance with corporate QHSS&E procedures. Contribute proactively to laboratory safety improvements. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and hazard-free work environment. Ensure all samples produced meet global standard operating procedures (SOPs) before release. Serve as a QHSS&E champion, promoting adherence and improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Commercial Support Responsibilities: Provide business and administrative support to the Account Manager (ACM). Prepare and maintain customer directories, including submission lists, customer contacts, and project-related information. Support efficient customer service, ensuring timely responses for documentation, questionnaires, and product information requests. Assist with project management by tracking progress, identifying customer requirements, and coordinating sample logistics. Monitor customer market trends and products, sourcing items for analysis and comparison when required.
