- Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start (1:30pm; overtime as needed to 3:30pm)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Equipment Assembler – Electrical / Hydraulics to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and integration of 12-volt electrical wiring and hydraulic systems on vocational trucks, service bodies, and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and route wiring harnesses, lighting systems, and control modules
- Mount, connect, and test hydraulic components (pumps, valves, hoses, cylinders)
- Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics
- Perform function tests and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic assembly (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Familiarity with 12V electrical systems and hydraulic flow concepts
- Basic knowledge of truck chassis and commercial equipment a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
