Out-Patient Behavioral Health Coordinator (Full-time)

Larkin Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. This role will oversee the daily clinical operations of outpatient mental health services, providing leadership and support to clinicians while ensuring high-quality, client-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited university with a degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field; one year of full time or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience working with adults with serious emotional disturbances.
  • Strong organizational, communication, emotional intelligence, and customer service skills.
  • Able to manage stress, make decisions under pressure, multi-task, and work independently.
  • Good knowledge of HIPPA, Mental Health Services, and of community resources available for mental health and substance abuse population.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Already Licensed preferred; Registered Intern Acceptable.
  • Knowledgeable of and comply with state and federal statues, rules and policies that affect the target population.
  • Strong ability to work well with a multi-functioning team of clinical staff, case managers, and support staff.
  • Ability and willingness to work closely with diverse populations, as well as emotionally disturbed adults and their families.
  • Ability to work within fixed schedule.
  • Ability to work independent, as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong Documentation and time management skills.
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hour weeks) 8:00am – 4:30pm
