As a Backend Engineer, you'll develop and maintain back-end systems, ensuring seamless user experiences while collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for optimal functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and integrate cloud platforms like Azure.
- Apply best practices in clean coding, responsive design, and containerized setups using Docker.
- Develop microservices with Spring Boot, conduct code reviews, and enhance our modern tech stack.
- Manage integrations and ensure seamless user experiences across the tech stack.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of hexagonal architecture principles.
- Familiarity with cloud-native applications and experience with Docker and YAML.
- Experience with Azure or another comparable cloud provider is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus.
