Who You Are

The Senior Tax Associate position requires a steady, accurate, analytical worker who finds fulfillment in a job well done while working with clients in a courteous, professional manner. Required Experience and Skills

• Must have 4+ years of recent public accounting experience. Experience preparing partnership, corporate, individual, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates and non- profits.
• Assist with tax planning and prepare tax projections. Tax research and decision making.
• Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices
• Bachelor's required
• Master’s preferred
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required
• Ability to help with review of tax returns and can prepare more complex tax returns
• Assume responsibility for the completion of tax returns under the supervision of more experienced staff
• Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills
• Computer knowledge/Lacerte experience a plus
• Outstanding written and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of tax law
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility to take on bigger workloads during Tax season
