JOB DESCRIPTION

ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Web Software Developer – Senior to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The developer will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online (M365), SharePoint 2016, and associated Microsoft technologies to support the ACC’s Business Automation and Data Visualization environment.

This role involves developing custom applications, automating workflows, maintaining existing solutions, and collaborating directly with government stakeholders to improve the user experience and optimize information sharing across the enterprise. The developer will contribute to governance enforcement, documentation, training, and portal performance optimization across the ACC digital workspace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications, tools, and automation solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Provide recommendations on new features and services to improve user collaboration and productivity
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016 solutions to support document management and business process automation
  • Implement and manage ACC governance standards across portals, dashboards, and applications
  • Participate in portal branding, interface consistency, and technical governance enforcement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues submitted through CIO/G6 ticketing systems within required timeframes
  • Draft and maintain technical and user-facing documentation for all developed tools
  • Create training materials and conduct end-user training sessions in collaboration with government leads
  • Build automated workflows and notification logic to streamline customer business operations
  • Interface with commercial and government automation systems to improve enterprise efficiency
  • Stay current on emerging development frameworks and apply best practices for scalable, low-code/no-code solution delivery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web software development, including enterprise content and collaboration platforms
  • In-depth experience with:
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
    • SharePoint Online (M365) and SharePoint 2016
    • SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Visio
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to directly engage with users and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy scalable web-based solutions within government or enterprise environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in DoD or Army 365 development environments
  • Familiarity with Power Platform governance, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and Dataverse
  • Certifications in Power Platform, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience using Agile or DevSecOps development frameworks

CLEARANCE LEVEL

  • SECRET Clearance

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution

CERTIFICATION

  • Power Platform or Microsoft 365-related certifications preferred
