The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for up to seven part-time Faculty Associate positions for the 2025-2026 academic-year.

The successful candidate(s) will teach in-person or online courses, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. Faculty Associate positions are 1-2 fall or spring session(s), non-benefits-eligible, fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load. Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.

Essential Functions:

The candidate must contribute to the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship's mission in the area of teaching and must be able and willing to bring their management and strategic management experience to undergraduate business students.

Working Environment:

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled classroom setting subject to extended periods of standing, lecturing, facilitating classroom activities
  • Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
  • Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional activities require the ability to quickly change

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in the field of business
  • Potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills;
  • A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional experience and/or academic experience within the business profession with an active learning agenda.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Potential for or demonstrated excellence in teaching management and strategic management courses;
  • Significant service and professional contributions to the business profession;
  • Experience with training and industry partnerships.
