Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join a thriving machine shop specializing in the Aerospace industry, producing over 200 different parts using advanced lathes and 4-axis milling machinery. We have served the Aerospace sector for the last 50 years and are expanding our team due to growth. We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in Morisaki lathe and 4-axis milling machinery, all equipped with Fanuc control.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC lathes and 4-axis milling machinery effectively.
  • Set up machines, including changing tooling and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Work with high-temperature alloys and stainless steel.
  • Perform quality inspections of manufactured parts.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on lathe or mill.
  • Proficient in machine setup and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience working in a job shop environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with high temp alloys and stainless steel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CNC milling, lathe machining, and quality inspection.

Work Environment

Our machine shop operates in a job shop environment with day shifts from 6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and night shifts from 4:30pm to 4:30am, Monday to Thursday, with flexible hours on Fridays. We provide a professional setting where teamwork and precision are valued.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
