We’re looking for a T24/TPH Engineer to:

• Develop, support and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees.
• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment.
• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
• Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the WMI Core team in Qatar focusing on WMI Core Technology Division managing Core Banking platform.

TEMENOS T24 is the core banking system that is extensively used by Wealth Management business users to perform critical business functions (covering Front Office, Traders, Operations, Treasury, Financial accounting etc.)

TEMENOS PAYMENT HUB is the core banking system that is extensively used by Wealth Management business users to perform client related payment functions.

Your expertise

• bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computers or equivalent focusing code development and maintenance.
• ideally 6+ years of experience in a similar position focused on Core banking in a development or support role preferably with T24 and TPH.
• working experience in Java and Python will be an added advantage.
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing.
• hands-on experience and proficient understanding of Core Banking & Payment systems (Preferably in T24 &/ TPH) with comprehensive technical skills
• good Knowledge in Java with ability to code
• knowledge in T24 related technologies like TAFJ, ORACLE, Integration framework, DLM, Relational-Replication
• good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience
• ability to collaborate with the onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.
