Why You Will Love this Job:

The Cycle Counter is responsible for counting materials based on ABC categories and a cycle count schedule to ensure alignment with inventory logs and documents. This role supports inventory accuracy and contributes to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale, aligned with Rehlko core competencies.

Specific Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Cycle count materials to ensure alignment with inventory records.
  • Identify and resolve variances through recounts and system research.
  • Complete cycle count discrepancy forms using SAP data and physical counts.
  • Support component alert management by reporting count and location of items below safety stock.
  • Process material transactions promptly to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Support both plant and warehouse locations in Hattiesburg.
  • Participate in inventory processes such as damaged freight, scrapping, and physical inventory counts, and other processes of inventory management.
  • Operate independently / unsupervised for short periods.
  • Travel between plant and warehouse as needed.
  • Adhere to all plant safety and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Communicate effectively with forklift and carrier drivers.
  • Utilize hand-held scanners when required to track material movement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable product regulations, including the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation, and California Health and Safety Code.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Must successfully pass an assessment test.

Preferences

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • PIV certification is preferred.

The Hourly range for this position is $23.50-$23.50.The specific Hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
