Security Applications Analyst

The Security Applications Analyst will be responsible for supporting Security leadership in identifying and acting on growth opportunities using a data-driven approach to improve application utilization, performance, and data accuracy. Specifically, this role directly supports management and the security operations team by providing knowledge and expertise, quality control and user training resources for one or more applications, such as ServiceNow, Workday or SDP. The Security Applications Analyst serves as an advocate for the security team in the organization, influencing strategic platform development. They also may serve as project managers for platform enhancements/improvement as executed by internal teams or external contractors. Strong teaming, teaching and project management skills are highly valued and required. Demonstrated commitment to growth in application knowledge is expected, and behavior and actions that are in alignment with the QTS Customer Creed.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Global Subject Matter Expert and technical resource for various applications utilized by the physical security teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with global application administration and site operation teams to facilitate feedback from the end users and drive application improvement and innovation.
  • Recommend, prioritize, coordinate with application administrators, managing platform enhancements for all security applications.
  • Generate reports to enable data-driven decisions by Security leadership.
  • Work with SOM’s, FSM’s, RSM’s to assist with building visualizations and providing summary reports.
  • Analyze datasets and information to identify application improvement opportunities. Define improvement project requirements by interviewing stakeholders, analyzing data and processes, determining project scope and documenting results.
  • Works closely with audit & compliance ensuring accuracy of security reporting and data.
  • Creates training documentation for security applications.
  • Recommend changes and update written policies and procedures for sites Globally.
  • Craft quality professional written communications and templates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience.
  • 2+ years of supporting ServiceNow, Workday, SDP, ProWatch, Genetec and KeyWatcher.
  • Certifications related to Workday, ServiceNow or Salesforce.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the Service-Now, SDP, ProWatch, Genetec, Nuvolo CMMS module of ServiceNow.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce customer-facing intelligence reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365).
  • Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in California only, and this role is open to candidates outside of California with compensation that aligns with your location. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

The estimated pay range for this role, if based in California, is:

$88,550.81 - 135,417.80

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
