- Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components according to blueprints & work instructions. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background to help build, test, & inspect power winches, reducers, & rigging equipment that will be used in a variety of applications such as mines, construction, barge sites, & theaters.
Job Duties:
- Assemble product according to blueprints, ensuring that parts are manufactured correctly & fit properly when putting product together.
- Assemble & set gears
- Square up fitments to press seals & bearings
- Setting brakes on the gear
- Tapping threads
- Checking seals & looking for oil leaks
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring (knowledge of pneumatics is a plus)
- Must have ability to problem solve & trouble shoot problems both independently & part of a team
- Must have knowledge & ability to use a variety of hand & power tools
- Ensure that parts/products meet quality standards by following guidelines to measure, test, & inspect the product
- Manage inventory
- Labeling & locating parts
- Picking parts to fill kits or bins
- Delivering parts to work areas
- Recording & communicating inventory levels
