Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Online Education at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a part-time IT Support Assistant (Temp) to provide support technical support to Learning Environment Services.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The position is responsible for assisting other specialists in delivering timely troubleshooting and technical assistance for classroom technology to ensure minimal instructional disruptions. This role provides on-demand, in-person support to faculty and students for classroom technology, resources, and academic assistance. Some moderate to heavy lifting may be required. Flexible evening hours may be required. Occasional travel to satellite campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support resolution of Help Tickets for technology requests or incident reports.
  • Direct student employee support of IT/AV enabled spaces.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of technology related experience in an academic setting; or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with troubleshooting AV Equipment
  • Knowledge of PC, Mac, and Mobile hardware and systems
  • Excellent work ethic
